Prurigo Pigmentosa: A Case Report

Prurigo pigmentosa is a rare dermatosis with unknown etiology. It is characterized by sudden development of severe pruritic erythematous papules that spontaneously resolve, leaving reticulated hyperpigmentation.
A 42-year-old woman presented to our clinic with pruritic brown macules on her neck and chest, which by means of supportive clinical and histopathological features, was diagnosed as purirgo pigmentosa.
