Fahr’s Disease: Case Report

Fahr disease is a rare and idiopathic illness characterized by multipl calcifications in basal ganglion, dentate nucleus and deep cortical hemispheres. Cranial computerized tomography has an important role in the diagnosis but definitive diagnosis should be given after distinguishing the other calcificating diseases in the central nervous system.
We presented two cases of Fahr diseases diagnosed by clinical and radiogical findings with elimination of the other calcificating diseases.
