The Treatment Of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

Therapeutic modalities of chronic myelocytic leukemia has been changed during the last ten years. Busulfan replaced by hydroxyurea and interferon a has been entered to CML therapy. Allogenic bone marrow transplantation application has been started to perform in patients during the early disease period. Understanding of molecular biology of Philadelphia chromosome and different puriging procedures evolves new therapeutic approaches like autologous BMT and periferic blood stem cell transplantation procedures on CML patients.
