Adenovirus Gastroenteritis

Viral gastroenteritis are very important infectious diseases in the childhood especially in infants. Enteric adenoviruses are the second mostly seen agents in infantil gastroenteritis, after rotavirus. However the importance of the adenovirus are not known very well, especially in the developing countries. In this article the importance of adenovirus gastroenteritis are emphasized and advances in the diagnostic approaches are presented.
