The Lesions Of The Spinal Cord

The localisation and the level of the spinal cord lesions, and whether the other parts of central nervous system are affected, is important for diagnosis of the neurologic disease. THat is why it is necessary to have a good history and neurologic examination. Senses, spinal reflexes, Babinski and Babinski like pathological reflexes, paralyses of the muscles, atrophy of the muscle, tone of the muscle must all be carefully examined. In addition, the evaluation of the autonomic nervous system should not be neglected since it is helpful to determine the localisation of the lesions. In this study, the lesions and some diseases of the spinal cord have been examined.
