Single ventricle is 1.5% of all the congenital heart diseases. Main symptoms are dyspnea and cyanosis. 50% of the patients die in the first month of their lives while 74% die in the first 6 months. Pulmonary stenosis and transposition of the great arteries are often seen together with this anomaly. Our patient?s disease was first diagnosed when she was 16 and we saw her when she was 23 and she was prognant for 15 months. We decided to make an abortus as she wouldn?t be able to continue a successful pregnancy. One month later she had a cerebral emboly with hemiparesis and disphasia. We saw the patient with these symptoms and went to on the subject.
