Magnetic Resonance Imaging In Tuberous Sclerosisa Case Report

Tuberous sclerosis (TS) is one of the neurocutaneous syndromes which has been appeared as a group of the congenital malformations including neurological and the signs. Giant cell astrocytoma is the tumor to be seen as complication of TS. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the most efficient method in the diagnosis of TS. MRI also be frequently used for detecting and following the complications such as giant cell astrocytoma. Presumptive diagnosis of tuberous sclerosis was suggested on the basis of clinical and MRI manifestations. We present the features of tuberous sclerosis on MRI studies.
