Successful Liver Transplantation For Indomethasine Induced Ful-minant Hepatic Failure In Adult Still's Disease: Case Report

Severe liver failure in adult Still’s disease is rare. Hepatic injury secondary to drug reactions is a frequent indication for orthotopic liver transplantation. The data regarding the outcome of liver transplantation for the patients with adult Still’s disease who develop fulminant liver failure is limited. We report a case with adult Still’s disease who developed fulminant hepatic failure after non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug administration and treated successfully with ABO incompatible liver transplantation.Keywords: Still's disease; adult-onset; indomethacin; liver failure, acute; liver transplantationTurkiye Klinikleri J Med Sci 2007, 27:788-790
