Primary Extraskeletal Ewing Sarcoma: Case Report

Extraskeletal Ewing Sarcoma is a rare soft tissue tumor that is morphologically indistinguishable from Ewing sarcoma of the bone. In our case report, we present an extraskeletal Ewing Sarcoma of the right vastus lateralis muscle in a 22-year-old male patient. Although magnetic resonance imaging findings are not specific, it should always be included in the differential diagnosis of non-calcified soft tissue tumors especially in young patients.Keywords: Sarcoma, Ewing’s, magnetic resonance imagingTurkiye Klinikleri J Med Sci 2006, 26:579-583
