A case of squamous cell carcinoma originating from IP and invading the orbit is presented. A 35-year-old female presented to our clinic with a mass in the nasal cavity, invading the ethmoid, frontal and maxillary sinuses, the medial side of the orbit and the cribriform plate. The patient received two courses of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Following this, maxilloethmoidal tumor resection and orbital exenteration by a lateral rhinotomy approach was performed. Having positive surgical margins, the patient received postoperative radiation therapy. Although locoregional control was accomplished, the patient died due to multiple systemic metastases at postoperative month 17.Keywords: Nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, papilloma, inverted, carcinoma, squamous cellTurkiye Klinikleri J Med Sci 2006, 26:206-210
