The Responsibility Of The Physician In The Emergency Departments: Review

General surgeons and Internal Physicians work at public emergency services in our country. Due to recent judicial arrangements and patient’s rights, physicians should be learned medical jurisprudence. Physicians should not only take care of the patients, but also should deal with the legal aspects of the cases. The responsibilities of the physicians working in emergency departments differ in some ways from those in other departments. Some of these differences are having informed consents from patients, giving explanations and the insufficient equipments in emergency department. Furthermore physicians should write judicial reports in emergency service (e.g. alcohol and forensic reports). If these reports write by mistakes, these legal errors become a new forensic proceeding. Every people who affected from these legal errors will complain in future. The dead who admitted to emergency services is also very complicated. This body can be alive or there is suspicious dead. These events have judicial problems.
