Gastric Lipoma: A Case Report

We present a rare case of gastric lipoma. A 72 year-old woman was diagnosed with gastric lipoma. The diameter of the tumor was 7cm and antrectomy with gastrojejenostomy were performed. The diagnosis was established through intraoperative pathological consultation.
Tumor resection is effective for benign gastric tumors. Tumors larger than 5 cm are so-called “giant tumors”.Keywords: Lipom, stomachTurkiye Klinikleri J Med Sci 2005, 25:732-735
