A Case Of Recurrent Non-hodgkin Lymphoma With Pancreatic Involvement

Non-epithelial malignant tumors of the pancreas are extremely rare. A case of pancreatic involvement of recurrent non-Hodgkin lymphoma is presented.
A 58-year-old female patient with extranodal lymphoma localized to the bone, first diagnosed in 1993 and since having achieved complete remission, represented with pancreatic lymphoma 10 years later. Histopathologic evaluation revealed recurrence of the original phenotype. Complete remission, however, was subsequently achieved with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The patient has been free of disease for 15 months.
