Cardiac Troponins

Among the structural and regulatory proteins in the cardiac muscle, cardiac troponins are effective tools in the diagnosis of myocardial injury. They are highly sensitive and specific cardiac markers. Thus, they contribute to the prognostic assessment of the patients with acute coronary syndromes.
