Atrophoderma Vermiculatum: Case Report

** Dr., Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Patoloji AD, ISPARTA Purpose: Atrophoderma vermiculatum is a rare disorder characterized by atrophic pits, particularly on the cheeks with reticular appearance. Although the disease primarily presents a cosmetic problem and is at times associated with cardiac abnormalities, the prognosis is good. Case Report: An 18-year-old boy with clinical and histopathologic findings of AV was described and differential diagnosis has been discussed.Conclusion: It is important to know that Atrophoderma Vermiculatum is a benign this is localised to the face at younger ages although it may cause cosmetic problems.Keywords: SkinTurkiye Klinikleri J Med Sci 2003, 23:41-42
