** Uz.Dr., Atatürk Eğitim Hastanesi Dermatoloji Kliniği, İZMİR Erythematous, aedematous and painfull lesions, following an arthropod bite, are frequently seen. But, development of toxic lymphangitis rarely occurs. A 60-year-old female, who had a history of arthropod bite and developed an erythematous and aedematous plaque on her umbilical region, admitted to our outpatient clinic. As, there were radial lymphangitic streamings at the periphery of this lesion, it was diagnosed as toxic lymphangitis. This rare case is presented to draw attention to toxic lymphangitis which should be considered in the differential diagnosis of perplexing erythematous abdominal lesions. Keywords: Lymphangitis, Arthropod VenomsTurkiye Klinikleri J Med Sci 2002, 22:583-585
