Spontaneous Perforation Of The Choledoc (case Report)

Purpose: In this case report, we concluded a patient with spontaneous choledoc perforation and reveiwed the literature. Materials and Methods: The patient aged 62 years old had applied emergency clinic complained acute abdomen and then she was hospitalized General Surgery Clinic in Atatürk University Medical Faculty.Results: The female who had no significant medical history underwent laparotomy because of acut abdomen due to choledoc perforation which located distal to cystic duct, common bile duct junction.Conclusion: The patient undergone cholecystectomy and a insertion of T-tube to choledoc via the perforation area died of cardiopulmonary arrest during the operation.Keywords: Abdomen, Acute, Common Bile DuctTurkiye Klinikleri J Med Sci 2002, 22:56-58
