Investigation Of The Central Effect Mechanism Of Asubstance Derived From Mercaptobenzimidasole

In this study, the antagonism of 5-Ethoxy-2-[2-(Morpholino)-Ethyltio]-Benzimidasole from mercaptobenzimidasole with Korazol, Arekolin, Tiyosemikarbazid, Striknin, 5-Oksitriptofan (5-OTF) and Bikukulin was investigated. This substance didn’t change the effects of Korazol, Arekolin, Tiyosemikarbazid, Striknin and 5-Oksitriptofan, but significantly potentate the effect of Bikukulin. This result shows that there is a role of GABA receptors in mechanism of effect of this derived substance.
