Giant Leiomyoma Of The Appendix: Report Of A Case

Tumor ıncidence of the appendix is %1.1; carcinoid tumors consist the majority of it with an ıncidence of %0.5, mucocele (%0.2) and adenocarcinoma (%0.08) are other types of neoplasia that can be seen of appendix. Leiomyoma of the appendix is rarely reported in the literature. We present here the largest appendiceal leiomyoma that hasn’t pressured until now together with clinical and histophatological features.
