The Factors Affecting Prognosis Of Acute Renal Failure

The mortality of acute renal failure (ARF), didn't decrease in spite of modern diagnostic and therapeutic methods and dialysis applications that are becoming more common. Death in ARF is not only due to renal failure. Many studies were done to find the real factors affecting mortality rate. We determined the factors affecting mortality in ARF with literature evaluation. These factors are the age of the patient, ethiology of ARF, complications, oliguric or anuric course, need of dialysis, rate of increase in urea and creatinine levels and protein levels of plasma.
