There are a lot of factors affecting male and female gonadal development. The most significant of these factors are genetic, endocrinologic and environment dependent. H-Y antigen, WT-1 gene and Sry gene is the most important genetic factors, while among endocrinologic factors are Anti Müllerian Hormon (=AMH= Müllerian Inhibiting Substance=MIS), Follicle Stimulating Hormon (=FSH), Luteinizing Hormon (=LH) and Serotonin. Beside these factors chemical and environmental factors such as Fibroblast Growth Factor (=FGF), Aromatase, Activin, ionized radiation and Mitomycin C also affect gonadal development. These findings puts out how much factors are involved and how extremely complicated the gonadal development is.Keywords: Human embryology, Gonadal development,
