** Uz.Dr., Güney Emar Görüntüleme Merkezi, ANTALYA Functional imaging, basically performed in Nuclear Medicine using with radiopharmaceuticals and tracer kinetic principals, provides physiopathologic data rather than morphologic information. Until recently, many diagnostic imaging procedures are directed toward the depiction of functional changes. Technical advances in Magnetic Resonance (MR), Computed Tomography (CT) and Ultrasonography (US), such as fast imaging and specific contrast agents enable to provide certain physiopathologic information. In this study, functional imaging studies in MR, CT, US were reviewed and compared with radionuclide studies. Keywords: Functional imaging, MR, CT, USTurkiye Klinikleri J Med Sci 2000, 20:96-101
