By using controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) immature prophase I (PI) and metaphase I (MI) oocytes (n=970) taken from 120 patients who applied to GATA IVF center in different periods in one year were cultured in various time and conditions. The number and rate of mature oocytes which could reach to metaphase II (MII) in different culture and incubation were determined.
At the incubator conditions of 37 °C, 75-98% humidity and 5% CO2 (pH:7.4), the cultural environments produced by adding 10-15% fetal cord serum (FCS) to the different media are found as the most successful model, increasing the mature oocytes number that could complete their maturity. Keywords: Oocyt, In-vitro maturation,
