A Case Of Elastosis Perforans Serpiginosa

Elastosis perforans serpiginosa (EPS) is a rare dermatosis characterized by hyperkeratotic papules, arranged in an annular or serpiginous pattern. Abnormal elastic fibers are extruded through the skin by the process of transepidermal elimination.The disorder consists of three types that are idiopathic, reactive (associated with a connective tissue disorder) and penicillamine-induced. Since it is an uncommon disorder, a 55 year-old female patient with elastosis perforans serpiginosa is presented in this case report.Keywords: Elastosis Perforans Serpiginosa,
