Teledermatology

Teledermatology is the name of the telemedicine applications in dermatology with the use of digital image transferring, benefiting from telecommunication technologies. In this manuscript, the literature data's including the usage areas, cost-benefit analysis and reliability of teledermatology are reviewed. We think that the teledermatology services, which may be constructed with low costs, can be effective for the amelioration of the public health care in our country by supplying the cooperation of the rural general practitioners with the dermatology clinics of the grand cities in the near future.Keywords: Teledermatology, telemedicine,
