Two children from the same family admitted for the liver transplantation program in our hospital one year apart. Their diagnostic indications for LRLT were both Byler's disease. The children were transplanted left lobe grafts: Five and a half-year-old boy from his mother and the six-year-old girl from her father. The striking point with our case is that all members of a single family were performed liver transplantation surgery and fortunately they all had uneventful hospital courses. None of the children underwent reoperation for complications or rejection. Keywords: Liver transplantation, paediatricTurkiye Klinikleri J Med Sci 2001, 21:305-306
