Biological Effects Of Non-ionizing Electromagnetic Fields

Electromagnetic waves can be separated two groups as ionizing and non ionizing. Although non ionizing waves are used widely, it is controversial that whether they are carcinogenic or not.
Biologic character of electromagnetic radiation varies widely as though physical characteristic, and measurement units and measurement types demonstrates too many differences.
Exposure of electromagnetic field to a tissue or a body is called as specific absorption ratio (SAR).
Radiofrequency fields, especially microwaves (300MHz-300GHz) are made up of the important part of electromagnetic spectrum due to both application area and health. This non ionizing radiation has long wave length and low frequency. This may lead the emitting of energy which causes heating of conductor matters.
